The company has grown into a recognized, independent company with numerous successful corporate movies and commercials. Since 2002 the F24 team started focusing more on documentaries, producing worldwide on film and in high definition.
The F24 team comes from different cultural backgrounds, but it is united by their passion for filmmaking.
JENS HOFFMANN (Director, Cinematographer, Writer)
The German filmmaker began accumulating his film experience in the early 90s. Indeed, his first project was a documentary, capturing his own activities as a freeskier on a 16mm camera. Though he wanted to develop his skills as a cameraman, his career started in the narrative direction.
After some years in television his ultimate transfer was marked by his work on an international IMAX project in 1998.
In 2000, he started his own production company, F24 Film, which produced not only commercials and corporate movies but also feature-length documentaries. More recently, these have become the focus of his work and have received several international awards.
His 2006 film, Fatima’s Hand, about a perilous BASE-jump in the Mali desert has received 14 awards from international film festivals. His other documentaries include: Journey to the Center - shot in China, and produced in Munich and Los Angeles; and the long-term project, 20 Seconds of Joy. For the film, 9to5 – Days in Porn, the director spent a number of years in the San Fernando Valley - the epicenter of the adult entertainment industry. In that way, he was able to portray several characters, creating an authentic and insightful view into their lives.
Cleonice Comino (Producer)
At the age of 16, the Brazilian-born started working for a major bank where she spent almost six years. In 1995, she left that job and quit her studies quite decidedly to travel around Europe. After spending several years studying in London, she moved to Munich and has been there for over ten years.
Since then, she has established herself as a producer, executive producer and associate producer within many fields, including commercials and documentary films. She has been working as a producer at F24 Film GmbH since 2003.
For the documentary 9to5 – Days in Porn, she was responsible for both the production and the sound recording during filming.
